Loosening Furniture Joints with a Heat Gun

When doing repair work, it's often difficult to not cause further damage to the piece of furniture when trying to deal with broken areas. Fortunately, almost all adhesives will loosen up with heat. It's always a problem getting the heat where you want it, but here I was successful using heat to remove a delicate crest rail from this chair without damaging it.
