We have been in the business of restoring antique furniture for over 40 years - 30 years in Newton, Massachusetts, and in Gorham, Maine since 2008.

 

This last year has brought many changes and opportunities for reflection. During this time we have tried to maintain our schedule and chip away at our backlog of work, which has ballooned to over a year. With the loss of our part-time employees we are falling farther and farther behind.

 

After much thought we’ve decided that we can no longer add any new work to our schedule. Tom will continue to work on 2-3 pieces per month from our existing list, and plans to post two videos per month on his YouTube channel. We’re going through these jobs chronologically, and will be contacting clients who are already on the list to see if they still want to proceed with the jobs we have discussed. 

This is also our way of “easing” into retirement. We greatly appreciate the patience and understanding of all of our customers.
